In August 2010 I started Weddings by Rachel, one of very few wedding and event planning organisations in South Wales at the time.
As I am sure it is for everyone, starting my business was an arduous task and one that I didn’t embark on lightly. With my background of marketing, PR and event management, it seemed natural that I would incorporate my love of weddings into the mix and take the step to become a wedding planner.
Of course, there was the innate step of planning weddings of friends and family and helping out where I could that really gave me a taste of my love for the industry.
