My name is Emma Hoffman and I am very excited to be part of this empowering book and to be able to share our story with you. I am the Founder & Head of Marketing for bigdeal Mobile Application, a global Tech Startup based in Melbourne, Australia, which proudly boasts an all-female Board of Directors. This is exceptionally rare in any industry, but especially within the male dominated arena of Tech Startups.
Our Board of Directors consists of three extraordinary women. There is, of coarse, myself, as well as Vivian Ziakas (Chief Financial Officer) and Capel Robinson (Co-Founder). A Jew, a Greek and an Aussie… which sounds like the opening line of a bad joke but turned out to be the recipe for success!
