Ten years ago I had never worked in an office, barely knew how to send an email and had no experience with MS Office. Today I am a General Manager of an Australian national company, living in the Philippines supervising 29 off-shore staff.
Throughout my twenties I bounced from job to job, predominately in carer roles such as childcare and disability support work. As I approached my thirties however, I began to want a career. Something that would challenge me and provide enough financial reward to help support my young family.
